Healthy Sounds

Healthy Sounds! is a partnership between Tŷ Cerdd (Welsh Amateur Music Federation) and the Welsh Assembly Government.

The scheme encourages performances in publically-funded health-care centres – i.e. hospitals and other centres where there is nursing care provided by the NHS – by local community amateur music societies, including school ensembles.  Performances normally take place in the larger public areas of the building, but this will be advised by the hospital or care centre.

The performing society is offered a donation of £100 or £200 per performance, plus expenses.  No payment can be made to an individual musician, but an ensemble from the society, consisting of 6 or fewer performers will receive a donation of £100. All other ensembles will receive £200.

Please note:
  • All ensembles: A limit of up to 5 performances (for which a donation is payable) within the period April 2009 – March 2010, after which any further request for funding will be reviewed in the light of available funding. (This gives us the option of allowing further performances should funds allow)

  • Donations can only be made up to the limit of available funds, so that applications will continue to be considered on a “first come – first served” basis until the funding is exhausted.

  • Performing ensembles are responsible for negotiating the time and place of performance with the local hospital/health-care centre.

  • The application procedure is simple and application forms can be downloaded from here:  Healthy Sounds.  All you then need to do is to contact your local hospital or care centre, arrange the date and nature of the performance, and let us know by sending the completed application form.

We may need to discuss the details with you, but will then send you a claim form.  Once the performance has taken place, return the completed claim form (endorsed by a representative of the hospital or care centre) and we will make the payment.

    Synau Iachus

Mae Synau Iachus! yn bartneriaeth rhwng Tŷ Cerdd (Ffederasiwn Cerddoriaeth Amatur Cymru) a Llywodraeth Cynulliad Cymru.

Mae’r cynllun yn annog perfformiadau mewn canolfannau iechyd a ariannwyd yn gyhoeddus – e.e. ysbytai, a chanolfannau eraill ble y darparwyd gofal nyrsio gan GIC – gan gymdeithasau cymunedol cerddoriaeth amatur, yn cynnwys ensemblau ysgol.  Cynhalir y perfformiadau fel arfer ym mannau mwyaf, cyhoeddus yr adeilad, ond fe fydd yr ysbyty neu ganolfan gofal yn cynghori yngltŷn a hyn.

Cynigir rhodd o £100 neu £200 fesyl perfformiad i’r gymdeithas perfformio, yn ogystal â chostau. Ni wneir taliad i gerddor unigol, ond caiff ensemble o’r gymdeithas, yn cynnwys 6 neu lai o berfformwyr, daliad o £100. Caiff pob ensemble arall £200.

    Nodwch os gwelwch yn dda:

  • Pob ensemble: Mae terfyn hyd at 5 perfformiad (ble ceir rhodd) o fewn y cyfnod, Ebrill 2009 – Mawrth 2010; ar ôl hynny adolygir unrhyw gais pellach yng ngoleuni y cyllid sydd ar gael.

  • Gwneir taliadau hyd at ddiwedd y cyllid sydd ar gael, a bydd ceisiadau yn parhau i gael eu ystyried ar sail cyntaf I’r felin gaiff falu.

  • Mae’r ensemblau sy’n perfformio yn gyfrifol am drefnu amser a dyddiad perfformiadau gyda’r ysbytai/ canolfannau iechyd lleol.

  • Mae’r drefn ar gyfer gwneud cais yn syml – mae’r ffurflenni cais I’w cael ar wefan Tŷ Cerdd: Synau Iachus.  Yr oll sydd angen i chi ei wneud yw cysylltu gyda eich ysbty lleol neu ganolfan gofal, trefnu dyddiad a natur y perfformiad, a hysbysu Tŷ Cerdd drwy anfon y ffurflen gais wedi ei cwblhau.

Efallai y bydd angen i ni drafod y manylion gyda chi, ond fe anfonwn ffurflen arall wedyn, i’w cwblhau ar ôl y perfformiad (wedi ei ardystio gan gynrychiolydd yr ysbyty neu ganolfan gofal). Wedi in dderbyn y ffurflen hon byddom yn talu y £200.00.
