Healthy Sounds

Healthy Sounds! is a partnership between Tŷ Cerdd (Welsh Amateur Music Federation) and the Welsh Assembly Government.

The scheme encourages performances in publically-funded health-care centres – i.e. hospitals and other centres where there is nursing care provided by the NHS – by local community amateur music societies, including school ensembles.  Performances normally take place in the larger public areas of the building, but this will be advised by the hospital or care centre.

The performing society is offered a donation of £200 per performance, plus expenses.

Please note:
  • There is currently no limit on the number of performances.

  • The scheme has been back-dated to December 2007.

  • Payments are on a first-come, first-served basis until the cash runs out.

  • If circumstances dictate (for example, if the performing space is small), an ensemble from the society may perform, but the minimum requirement is at least 4 performers.

  • The application procedure is simple and application forms can be downloaded from here:  Healthy Sounds.  All you then need to do is to contact your local hospital or care centre, arrange the date and nature of the performance, and let us know by sending the completed application form.

We may need to discuss the details with you, but will then send you a claim form.  Once the performance has taken place, return the completed claim form (endorsed by a representative of the hospital or care centre) and we will make the payment.

    Synau Iachus

Mae Synau Iachus! yn bartneriaeth rhwng Tŷ Cerdd (Ffederasiwn Cerddoriaeth Amatur Cymru) a Llywodraeth Cynulliad Cymru.

Mae’r cynllun yn annog perfformiadau mewn canolfannau iechyd a ariannwyd yn gyhoeddus – e.e. ysbytai, a chanolfannau eraill ble y darparwyd gofal nyrsio gan GIC – gan gymdeithasau cymunedol cerddoriaeth amatur, yn cynnwys ensemblau ysgol.  Cynhalir y perfformiadau fel arfer ym mannau mwyaf, cyhoeddus yr adeilad, ond fe fydd yr ysbyty neu ganolfan gofal yn cynghori yngltŷn a hyn.

Cynigir rhodd o £200 fesyl perfformiad i’r gymdeithas perfformio, yn ogystal â chostau.

    Nodwch os gwelwch yn dda:
  • Nid oes terfyn ar nifer y perfformiadau yn bresennol.

  • Mae’r cynllun yn cynnwys perfformiadau o Rhagfyr 2007 ymlaen.

  • Gwneir taliadau ar sail cyntaf I’r felin gaiff falu.

  • Os yw amgylchiadau yn arddweud (er enghraifft, os yw’r man perfformio yn fach), gall ensemble o’r gymdeithas berfformio, ond yr isafswm o berfformwyr yw 4.

  • Mae’r drefn ar gyfer gwneud cais yn syml – mae’r ffurflenni cais I’w cael ar wefan Tŷ Cerdd: Synau Iachus.  Yr oll sydd angen i chi ei wneud yw cysylltu gyda eich ysbty lleol neu ganolfan gofal, trefnu dyddiad a natur y perfformiad, a hysbysu Tŷ Cerdd drwy anfon y ffurflen gais wedi ei cwblhau.

Efallai y bydd angen i ni drafod y manylion gyda chi, ond fe anfonwn ffurflen arall wedyn, i’w cwblhau ar ôl y perfformiad (wedi ei ardystio gan gynrychiolydd yr ysbyty neu ganolfan gofal). Wedi in dderbyn y ffurflen hon byddom yn talu y £200.00.
